I’m going for a drive! I’m gonna update this as I go.
Highlights:
The heater works really well.
Too hot, turn off heat.
Pass two full sized trucks on hwy 93- I don’t think my Mazda has ever gone this fast...
Then a hard left and a bunch of 2nd and 3 rd gear driving on Farm to Market.
Do the zig zags on Kuhns road, down shift, corner, floor it, shift to 3rd at 6,000. Brake, downshift and repeat 5 more times.
Back to town and groceries at Super 1. Going to try to make gyro meat.
Highway 93 north...
Farm to Market
Post drive mud
And wash

Well I know I get quite a lot of heat through the fire wall and console, I think I need to get that big roll of sound mat out of storage and get that in the car. I was thinking of making a custom floor mat for the M37 to dampen the sound from below, you can actually see right past the pedals through the floor.

I had to turn the heater off and it was 45 degrees outside. That’s a lot of heat transfer and the heat coming through the fire wall and transmission tunnel just adds to it.

Yeah it is pretty intense, open the little side vents. With no AC I considered getting a racing rear hatch window with some closeable aircraft vents, get some air flowing through the cabin. I have the original hatch glass so I could package that up safe.
